Today was a lazy day for me.
I spent some time meandering around and exploring my neighborhood, plus hanging out at a nearby outdoor cafe. I couldn’t really read the Czech menu there, so I ordered randomly off the coffee section and got this espresso + ice cream + whipped cream drink. It was pretty yummy : )
I’m newly obsessed with the kindle – I’ve been reading all kinds of adventure fiction based on reinventions of old mythologies (Rick Riordan, Michael Scott….)
What are you reading lately? : )

I feel like the differing ways in which we spent this day off say something about our personalities.
You: Outdoors, exploring, reading, delicious food = Educated, appreciate the finer things in life
Me: Uhhh… I made an animation of a chicken and a dinosaur in outer space? = nerd, no life
Also I have a bunch of czech crowns left over from when I was there, which I would love to give you, but I feel like that would entail me going back to Prague and thereby spending them all anyway.
I think having them makes for a perfect excuse to revisit Prague!
Glad you asked! I’m reading a copy of the Da Vinci Code that I picked up at Goodwill a while back, and also the first in a series by Suzanne Collins called GREGOR THE OVERLANDER. I capitalize it, of course, because it must be said regally.
Glad to hear you are doing well. 🙂
Ooooh I love those Gregor books! I remember they had some poignant one-liners that really stuck with me. 🙂 I keep meaning to read the Hunger Games by her!
