Matchbooks. You don’t see them much anymore, but my family used to collect them.
They make a cool way to see some different places you’ve been…
Some different restaurants where you’ve eaten…
like The Treasure Ship in Panama City– this famous landmark restaurant burnt down about two weeks ago…. sad to see it go.
And Hemingway’s — this place is still around.
Gino’s – some of the best pizza in Chicago.
Spats, in Nashville, has been closed for years.
And last, but not least! A little matchbox wisdom never goes wrong.

I like this. 🙂 Favorite is Spats. ALSO! I'm thinking about doing wedding matchbooks. What do you even think about that?
I loved Gino's when I went there last summer! Yum! Also, matchbooks are pretty spiffy.
Thanks for posting your matchbooks. Sorry to hear the Treasure Ship burned down. Had dinner there a number of years ago. Because it had a nice matchbox, still remember a great breakfast at a place called the Hearty House not too far from the Treasure Ship. When you come across new ones, let me know and I will list them on my site, http://www.matchbooktraveler.com. Just trying to help people find places that still have matchbooks with their names.
